The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) Meeting is the most important global event of the orthopedic sector and SAI was the only Argentine representative from the implants specialty. About 2,500 professionals around the world visited SAI booth, in which new orthopedic and trauma implants products were displayed.

With a successful participation and a huge positive impact on the medical community, South America Implants took part in 2016 American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) Meeting held in Orlando, Florida, last March. This event drew about 14,000 surgeons, specialists and the most renowned companies around the world to showcase their latest developments in the industry.

SAI welcomed around 2,500 visitors in its booth and showcased some of its 500 products, fully made in Argentina, including Premium Bone Anchors, Arpon Sub 5.0 ®, Arpon Noble®, Arpón Sub Knotless®, Arpón Sub Peek 5.5, System for complex distal radius fractures, Pro Anatomic®, lower limb osteosynthesis, “Nail Captor®”, the complete range of “Sports Medicine” FLOOP® and Medical Technology for High Performance.

Taking part in 2016 AAOS has boosted the company to where it belongs: among the brands that leads the international market in the world’s largest exhibition of medical products.

That event was useful not only to display new products, but also to establish multiple trade ties with Mexico, Colombia, Honduras, Greece, Spain, China, among other countries.

As its reputation as a local benchmark consolidates within Argentina and in the global medical community, SAI is sustaining its drive for innovation and working hard on expanding to new markets abroad. This is the reason why taking part in 2016 AAOS meeting has been such an important step to pursue such goal.
